Bioinformatics Services

The research focus of our Bioinformatics department is on Drug Discovery, Genome analysis, Computational Biology, Biological Database Development & other web applications. By applying a range of bioinformatics methods, we hope to contribute to unravel the underlying principles and, at the same time, to develop a couple of tools which may prove useful to the biological community. We offer the following services (databases and analysis tools) resulting from our own research and development projects.

DCSE (Database of Cell Signaling Enzymes)

Database of Cell Signaling Enzymes (DCSE), is First-of-its-kind in the category of open source biological databases and offers methods to study, interpret and compare each and every cell-signaling enzymes present.

DND (Database of nuerodegenerative Disorders)
DND is a dynamically compiled database allows researchers to link Neurological Disorders to the candidate genes and proteins.

ASD (Alpha-virus Sequence Database)
The alphavirus Sequence Database (ASD) is a searchable database of all published alphaviral sequences.

PHP Plot

Protein HydroPhobicity (PHP) Plot is a tool that predicts hydrophobic and hydrophilic regions in protein sequences using an amino acid scale, which includes the effect of the peptide bond.

TeCKDB (Telomere, Centromere & Kinetochore DataBase)
TeCK Database is a comprehensive collection of telomeric & centromeric sequence patterns with their associated binding proteins.

zampbioworld
zampbioworld offers Bio Services, Bio Tools, Free Ebooks, Bio Materials, Bioinformatics programs, Bio News, Biological databases, Bio Links, Bio Glossary and much more..

5S RNA
5S RNA is a relational database which provides extensive collection of nucleotide sequences, for the archaea, bacteria & eukaryotes.

DABP
Database of antibacterial peptides (DABP) has been established based on extensice literature search.Peptide information is searched using keywords such as peptide name, squence and activity.DABP is a usefule tool for studying the structure -function relationship.

AMF
Active Motif Finder is a webserver for finding active motifs in a set of DNA sequences.
